Services Offered

  • General Comments – global edits for consistency of voice, pacing, organization, structure, plot, narrative arc, juxtaposition, strengths, what needs to be worked on, next steps, etc.
  • Line Edits – includes everything offered with general comments, plus: proofreading, tiny line edits, details such as syntax, diction, and sentence variation, word choice, flow, sound, nitpicky things, etc.
  • Submission Preparation – helping you find the outlets that want your work and get you published there.
  • Writing Coaching & Mentoring – developing an idea, fostering a writing practice, helping you establish writing goals and routines that set you up for success. Click here for more on mentoring services.

Prices

  • General comments – $5 per page (double-spaced prose; single-spaced poetry)

  • Line edits – $7 per page (double-spaced prose; single-spaced poetry)

  • Recommendations for submissions – $2 per page + $20 flat fee.

  • Hire me by the hour – $40 per hour for writing coaching & mentoring. 

  • Chapbook editing (up to 50 pages) – $350
 includes developmental edits, organization, and line edits on every piece. Optional Zoom call to discuss.

  • Full-length collection (up to 100 pages) – $700
 includes developmental edits, organization, and line edits on every piece. Optional Zoom call to discuss.
