So, you want to write poetry? Or maybe you’ve been writing poetry, but you want to gain a strong understanding of poetry fundamentals? Then, this class is for you! During this live online workshop, Bethany Jarmul will teach you everything you need to know to start writing poems with confidence. You’ll learn the parts of a poem, the four levels of poetry, and strategies for writing powerful poems. Then, we’ll have a generative writing portion, in which you’ll have a chance to write your own poetry in response to prompts.
